With your group, try to find examples of a least 4 of the legal genres described on pp. 53-4. Then, compare how those sources differ based on the audience.

What do you notice about the language used in articles meant for other lawyers versus those meant for clients or public audiences? Write a list of similarities and differences. Then, discuss your observations. What accounts for the differences you observed?
