Imagine that you are a humanities research interested in analyzing Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. How might you use each of the research methods described here? How would it change the kinds of questions you might ask about that speech? With your group, try to fill out a research question or piece of evidence you might use for each of these methods. We’ve filled out one example below to get you started.
