Step 1: Review the diagram of scientific genres on pages 7-8 of the THWG. Each member of your group should choose a genre from the diagram to learn more about. Fill out the rhetorical chart below in your group’s Google doc about your chosen genre.

Step 2: As a group, discuss the rhetorical charts each of you made. How do they compare? Do you notice any trends or striking differences between the rhetorical charts based on genre? Write down some of the main points of your discussion below your charts in your group Google doc.

Step 3: Finally, find an example of the Unit 1 Project genre and include a link to it. As a group, write about how this genre compares to the genres each group member analyzed in their rhetorical charts. If you were to explain the main components of the genre you are writing in for your project, what would they be? Include at least 5 bullet points.
