Interview a classmate about your topic to help generate research ideas.  Consider asking your classmate to take on the role of a member of your intended audience. Questions to ask might include:

• What do you think are the most important issues related to this topic?
• What questions do you have about this topic?
• What are three facts you already know about this topic?
• What are three facts you would like to know about this topic?
• What are possible misconceptions about this topic?
